The CSR investment amounts to 800,000 euros and was fully supported by MaxBet
Bucharest, July 25, 2019 - The heliport of the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital (SUUB) is a premiere for the medical units in Bucharest. The construction is carried out on the Central Operating Room of the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital. Another premiere for the medical units in the Capital is represented by the fact that the medical helicopters will benefit from two color flights, including at night! Thus, regardless of the time of day, the emergency medical helicopters will be able to land, and the medical cases will be taken over by the specialists of the Emergency Reception Unit (UPU).
With the new heliport - located on the Central Operating Room - patients will be transported directly to the Emergency Unit with the help of an elevator and an above-ground corridor, both investments being also financially supported in full by MaxBet.
The investment of 800,000 euros made by MaxBet will offer an extra chance to patients in serious and very serious condition, who need highly specialized medical care in the University Center of Bucharest, by shortening the time they get to the emergency room.
The platform of the heliport has a metal structure consisting of steel beams and latticed poles, is equipped with gutters and safety nets, with electrical installation of beacons, with light markings, with rescue, protection and fire-fighting equipment. ABC Development Aviation is the heliport's designer and project manager, with the company specializing in the construction of medical and civil heliports.
The completion date of the project is estimated for the end of August - the commissioning will take place this autumn.

It is a successful project that sets a new standard of performance in the Romanian healthcare system ", said Dr. Adriana Nica, manager of the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital.
